2 Rockets 1 Moon
This post explores the journey of building innovative tech solutions in the art education space, highlighting the creation of Bloom and Momo, an AI companion doll. It reflects on the importance of efficiency in education and the evolving landscape of technology.
Ive been working as a dev and a process server. At one hand I am tech-based coherent while in the other I was living pineapple express. Both things I'm very passionate about. The one thing I learned building and shipping applications fast was that making short cuts sells people time and people love to save time. This made it clear to me what I wanted to do.
I want to build a platform for art schools that automates attendance, class purchases, and business operations. I've been a teacher for a long time and I know how time consuming it is to track attendance and a student's progress. Thats why I created Bloom, an online school portal for tracking attendances and managing studio operations such as inventory, student progresses, and sales. Ive been working with kids as an art teacher and I thought I could also sell them something.
The only thing I could think of is selling them a doll, Momo. A smart doll. Momo is an ai companion doll thats affordable and provides digital assistant capabilities. I created this because I was looking at CES 2026 and saw all the robotics and AI products. I saw a necklace that has AI capabilities via voice commands. My first thoughts were this looks terribly suspicious and spyish. I was convinced that it would be better if it was like a doll that takes up space but everyone knows its an AI. People don't want to be spied on with hidden wearables. Momo is meant to be seen and noticed because it can join your conversations and help you with any digital frontiers.
So now I built two applications but my execution needs to be flawless. My ventures as a ex founder prepared me for these moments. I know exactly what to do. Its always to the moon boys. To the fucking moon.
